Monday June 8th, 2026 - It is 6:47 a.m. I awoke this morning at 5:54 a.m. to the sound of the morning birds outside my window. I haven't woken up this early ready to ride my bike in over a month. Call it depression or lack of motivation. The limbo and waiting game of getting this book live to the world has been haunting me for at least 2 months. Today needs to be different. People are depending on me! To write. To release this book with the proper attitude and intention.

The word on the street is that there haven’t been any best-selling non-fiction novels in recent years. I think that has a lot to do with how most people consume stories now—sitting on their couches, cozied up with their pets or partners, searching for a quick dopamine hit from fast reels and bite-sized videos. They’re looking for freedom. Instead, they fall down a rabbit hole of lust, jealousy, and comparison. To write non-fiction properly, you have to love the uncomfortable
